actually it is still possible to unload awakened. i did it just to show a friend it's possible a couple weeks ago. i don't think you can still 'force' your awakened ability past 50 though.

Well, I haven't tried to unload it for sometime. I know that it was change long long ago, over a year I'd say.

what's useful about unloading awakened is it effectively turns you into a bluepill, so no NPCs will ever attack you. I did this quite a bit during my Pandoras Box missions so i could run through hideouts without getting attacked.
