Ok, why not just post it.... Three big reasons (there are more).

1) You as an end user wouldn't "use" it. The developer of your tool does. It's completely transparent to you. That said, these forums are mostly made up of script kiddies that couldn't write a line of code to save their lives. This is not the right audience for me to release this to say the least. You as a skiddie would look at it and ask, "What do I do with this?" where a good developer will look at it and say, "Umm... sweeet...." <cartman voice intentially added>

2) Many of the methods I use have been used for years. The solution you guys need is certainly not new at all. I'm giving the developer group of this board the chance to investigate on their own... I just posted another reply that points them in the right direction. There's a certain level of accomplishment figuring something out yourself.

3) Unfortunately what I use is generic and can be used in many different ways. Bad ways - not just "let's make a game tool." I may cripple it to work for just wow if I do send it to anyone.

... oh, [edited]... I guess there's a good fourth, and primary, reason for me not releasing it like that...

I expect a certain level of give and take from this exchange. I've made a couple game cheats and released them into the wild before... not soon after I saw all the effort wasted with a patch. Same for exploiting an OS. For my technical and development experience and knowledge (and possibly 'tool') there's a tax that has to be paid.

So, that's Sony's root-kit. You don't need to go so far as a root-kit however. Hiding processes, threads, and modules from an exe is not difficult. The driver I was referring to in my last post was for me to offer what I use. Also, modifying memory is easier when you're part of the OS.

What's sad is that before it hit the mainstream I offered you guys a solution but didn't get any takers. This is pretty much what I refer to when I claim that 99.99% of the people on this board are skiddies (regardless of how many posts you have under your name).

You were close to having a custom solution that you could have claimed, "This came from Tault."

figmentfilm - there's a fine line between arrogance and confidence. Sounds like you need to learn the difference.
