well, I'm an atheist. I guess that brands me with the stereotype that follows atheists. Hopefully that will change one day.

grats on the 1000
O.o really? interesting. and thanks
Well I have been in martial arts most of my life, and that causes me to be more agnostic that athiest... So yeah... I dont know where i wanted to go with this... just felt like typing it ^^;;
yeah, I was agnostic for a while, but after a lot of thinking and some studying I decided to go atheist. The problem is that many people (including me for a time) are too afraid of what their families, their friends, and society will think of them if they are atheists, or even agnostic. My philosophy is literally "F*ck-em" If anyone wont accept me for not: believing theres a floating entity with an unlimited supply of knowledge and seemingly endless power that forces you to worship him in the 100 years that you live and if you don't he'll punish you for all eternity; thats totally fine. friend or family, it doesn't matter. If they get in my face, i get right back in theirs. People are incredibly stupid and don't understand this country is founded under the basis of freedom of religion, or therefore lack of.
Unfortunately, my parents are also afraid of what society thinks, or they think their doing a service to me, or they don't think I'm smart enough to choose my own religion (tying into freedom of religion) and they force me to go to church, and now their forcing me to get confirmed. I'm pretty close to being kicked out though, as it has become a last resort for me to get myself from not getting confirmed, seeing as talking, reasoning, and logic have all failed thus far.
I'm done for now. I ponder this kind of crap all day long.
