Update:

Had a friend try vgextreme who has the exact cpu as I and it worked for him.
Formatted the pc, installed xp sp2 with latest updates. It works now. Thanks for the help everyone.

So Wyvern, if you get anybody who has problems like mine, just tell them to format....sucks but gotta do it.

sucks you have to reformat it does but you get one good thing, fresh comp to run VG faster <.<

ok from what I'm seeing I'm getting an error pretty much the same I go launch exhume and try to open vgextreme right and I get this error line in the scripts Error: Line: 108, Char: 4 :: Object required: getNearestMobs(...)' and thats it I have no clue what to do, I'm guessing I'm on the right track as I couldn't even launch vgextreme because of some dll error but I'm guessing you have to use exhume to launch vgextreme correct? well anywho I would really appreciatte some help with this issue thank you very much

djvj, cant remember if you have tried this or not, but delete everything but UpdateVGExtreme.exe and then run it.
