Eq2 Radar AMD fix [Fixed!] : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Got it to work
Here What I have done. Im running AMD 2800 Barton
Turn off all Virus programs and sofeware firewall still have router firewall up.


Uninstalled Xunleashed
Reboot Windows XP Pro.
Downloaded and installed Xunleashed Client 3.0.10 (Reg,Tested Directx9)

Changed it to Everquest 2. Plug-in install and checked are XU Trigers,Macros, Scripts, Windows input Server, TCP/IP Packet Sniffer.
Optional Settings check Auto Update Display Logo Use random FileNames.

Hit the Play Button- Everything seem to work fine. Closed EQ2 and XU.

Dowloaded EQ2Unleashed EQ2 Radar V1.0 and installed.

Just to test it I start up XU and try to join EQ2. Only thing I do is uncheck XU Packetsniffer.
It Crahed witch I was sure it would.

Closed XU downloaded the AMD fix.
Here how I installed it.
Started XU, Plugin drag and drop dll to uninstall. unchecked auto update plug in and made sure packet sniffer was not checked.
Closed XU.
Installed the New AMD fix dll to \Xunleashed\Plugins\Everquest2\EQ2Unleashed
Check version witch is 3.0.0.14.
Started XU check to make sure sniffer and autoupdate were uncheck.
Manually installed the dll. its say 3.0.0.14 at end.
Then I push Play button.
It crashed again.

Installed EQ2 Service 'Version 1.2.0.0

Started XU and check make sure everthing was same from last try.
Hit Play button and woohoo it works. Thanks
Now just need found out why I cant click on any of the button once I open up the windows.

Yeah we knew that, but if you could explain why the radar wouldn't work with it EQ2 Service installed, but worked when I uninstalled EQ2 Service and installed it again i'd like to know :?

Trying to use the radar for eq2. when I try to run it eq2 crashes to desktop. I run an amd 2400+ and have installed the amd patch for the radar. is it still not working or am I just having an issue with it now? If it is just me...any suggestions.

and yes...I have eq2service installed

two things.

1. you have to have the AMD version of the GUI installed.

2. You have to uncheck the tcpip packet sniffer plugin.



Also, if you dont uncheck auto-update plugins it will replace the AMD version with the intel version and patch itself.
