Actually, I think its because the character transfer hasnt taken place yet. I had to select a new name for the character I am moving and that character has been created, but its a cl1 and the ent character is still on the old server. Its been 6 hours so far, I thought the process would be alot quicker.

Seems the whole character transfer process is buggy. After 8 hours, the ent character still hadsnt moved but on the destination server there was a cl1 with its name. Under normal circumstances I would have emailed support but I just tried the character transfer again and it moved straight away, and I was able to respec to a cl90 combat toon. Cost me $70 for 2 transfers but it worked.

well wasn't there an earlier post saying that if you type /quit when the screen comes up right away you'll get a bug message saying there was a bug during the process and that you will have both chars on both servers and not be charged?

Yup, I tried that...and left it a few more hours. The lvl90 entertainer was still on the old server and on the destination server was a lvl1 char. Whenever I logged in i got the respec screen.

Thats why i just tried it again and paif another $35, worked like a charm the second time and was instananeous.

ok does this exploit still work?? i havent played SWG in a year and im back. umm lets say from a random server to tempest. would it work???? and if someone tip you to get a ride would it still work?

I did it twice yesterday and it worked fine.

Others here have advised against using the shuttle so I just ran from Bestine to Eisley, only takes 5 mins.

Still works but like i said there is till a small chance it wont work if you dont do it right

did this yestaday and also my friend did this yestaday and it worked for both of us.

i have done this exploit 2 times now, and in each of those times i have used a shuttle to get to mos eisley and it has worked in every go.

so i dont think the shuttle ruins the chance of this working

(also my friend used the shuttle and it worked for him)

it didn't work for me neither, i did everything i was supposed to and it didn't work, nice waste of 30 dollars

did you leave the screen up that gives you your dance crap wheni take that it does not work but when i dont click okay on anything just run to respec npc it works
