-Open the 'data' folder in your Daylight folder.
-Right click on the 'settings' file in the folder (should be the only file in the folder) and click edit.
-Second line down, change everything after 'version=' to the new line.
-Second line should now appear as 'version=0x01731b9c'
-Click file, then save.

Hum, I'm not a noob, I know how to edit a file.
I just wanna know where i can find the hexa version when a new version will come out
Do i have to explore the gw2.dat file, or maybe the gw2.exe.

I haven't find a relation between the version number of the patch (580000, something lile that) or the launcher version (18000) with the hexa number

Just a heads up, I was just banned permanently for using the pick up from trading post function. I have appealed but no reply, figure it will be a few hours.

What is the pick up from trading post function? IS that the auto loot from midnight or something else?

It allows you to pick up merchandise and or gold from trading post without having to visit the trading post. Nothing to do with auto loot. Called "Take item from TP" Lower right corner.

My GuildFriend, last month, has got ban while he played near a "bot team".

It never hurts to always play "dumb" and try to get your account back. It has worked several times in the past for me.

Still no word...I re-message them daily, explaining how loyal a customer I am and poiting out the money I have spent on the game....I will just wait now for a reply. Is there a number I can call? I haven't been able to locate one.

Nope. I found where they said they offered phone support for many years but it actually took longer to resolve issues over the phone. So I guess that is why they decided to stop. I dont know.Hopefully they get back to you via email sooner than later.

Mute point....the ban stands and they will not budge. Cant complain, I cheated and got caught. I will find another game, don't want to start over with GW2. Thanks guys and beware.

Neverwinter is fun for a few weeks. Elderscrolls is looking promising too.
