EQ2Extreme should work with 4812L, I just tested it on two machines. Have you tried EQ2ExtremeRadar to see if that works?

I'm getting ODD behavior on my Vista machine for the past 2 days...

When I fire up EQ2Extreme for the first time after a clean boot, I get a crash in Explorer. It's indicating ComCtl32 is the offending application. Once I restart explorer, I can start and stop EQ2Extreme to my hearts content with no more crashes.

Anyone else seeing this on Vista by chance?

Not yet, will give that a shot.

Both EQ2Extreme and Radar seem to be down since patch SOE build 4853T

As far as I can tell both EQ2Extreme and Radar are working with 4864L

Ok, I just rechecked EQ2Extreme and EQ2ExtremeRadar on both XP 32Bit and Vista Home Utimate 32Bit. The only problem I had was Norton blocking exhumehelper.dll

Does it happen on certain toons, or in certain areas? Are you using a non-english client?

Yep this does seem to be a problem with norton, i disabled it and it works a charm:)

Ok, I have downloaded and installed the following:

1.) Exhume
2.) Script Debugger
3.) Some Microsoft OCX files not provided
4.) Ex2extreme v4793

Everything was working great. The the problems started. Here are my steps I was doing:

1.) Start EQ2 Client in Windowed Mode
2.) Wait to be fully loaded and in zone and able to move the toon
3.) Start Eq2Extreme service

It asks for the login and password and then errors with a message about not finding the eq2extremeservice

So if I am doing something incorrect please let me know.

System:

P4 3.2 4 GB
Nvidia 8600 512MB
Windows XP (sp3)
DirectX 9.0c

Anything else please let me know.

AHH...now we are getting somewhere. I have not added XP SP3 to my development platform, and likely will not until some issues are resolved. Did your problems start about the same time you applied SP3?

I am running eq2ultrabot with eq2extreme on XP SP3 with no problem.
