Kule, I have not even looked at this code yet,

don't have 2 accounts, maybe when we get this working Altus we can
hook up in a system and 1 play hauler 1 play miner.
Of course could allways both mine then switch the hauler collect and back to miner, hehe maybe for the next version though. or we will end up at 8000 lines and my 4G Ath64 will start being too slow .

Now that would be a !@#$%^&* for the devs, have diffrent accounts from diffrent people with diffrent ips in diffrent countrys macro mining and working together. We will be having a BOT security force following us around before long

Okay,

upallnite I beg for your help.

I now have it working to the point where it sets itself up, warps to a belt and mines until its full and then warps back to the station. When its docked it opens the ships cargo hold but then does nothing else and Macro Scheduler seems to close down.

I got the latest Macro Scheduler and have tried this loads of times, everything seems spot on.

This is the only script that has every come close to working amazingly well, so if you have any ideas as to why it just sits there once back to station and opending up ships cargo then i'll be glad to listen.

Here's the log file of the problem i'm having, the following works perfectly:

1. Starts game
2. Logs me in
3. Set itself up
4. Leaves station
5. Warps to belt
6. Mines until full
7. Warps to station and docks
8. Opens ships cargo bay

After that instead of opening station hanger, moving ore over and heading back it it just stops and the macro ends.

You may run into problems with INSTA-Bookmarks. The macro was designed to be a muler miner with standard bookmarks, using afterburners for approach. The settings in the top of the macro are not indications of propulsion use, but just default START settings for the macro's use...If you noticed, those settings were NOT in the section marked off for general use...The reason ISTA-Docks, or Bookmarks won't work is that the FIRST, and PRIMARY feature of this macro was asteroid field "ROTATION" and RATS detection...it mines systems with 25 asteroid fields, so unless you intend to make 25 different insta-bookmarks for approaching the station from 25 directions, and write the code to use 25 different docking routes, it is not practical...For those wanting to merely strip mine 2-3 fields, you'd be far better off using an insta-key macro or many of the other fine products elsewhere on this website. Very few of us here have enough time to walk complete macro newbies through this complex of a macro only to field endless complaints of why it doesn't do a simple thing, find a simple macro instead...

Wasn't trying to complain, upallnite. Your work is very much appreciated. In fact, instead of submitting to join this site, I decided to pay to support the site. The reason? Solely for your work, as I have been told by several people that yours if by far the best. I love the constant updates and applaud you for your hard work. Very few have the enthusiasm that you bring to the table.

As for the instas, they work somewhat. For any moon's asteroid's fields, they all work the same. For example, UpAllNight VI Belt I thru UpAllNight VI Belt XXV would all give -nearly- the same place to fall out of warp. Since belts around the same moon are relatively close to each other and the station is typically at least several AU away, (geometrically) the angle differences in warping to the insta are insignificantly small.

Of course, this only holds up for belts around the same moon. When factoring in several moons, it becomes less reliable, but I figured since 3 out of 4 of my belts were around the same moon, the 4th's approach distance was something I could tolerate the macro doing repeatedly.

All the same, I fixed the bookmark from coordinates for the station so it will approach the station from the normal 15k.

Again, sorry for being such a newb to Macro Scheduler. I was pretty good at programming macros for Ultima Online through a program called EasyUO, but there are large program differences. RunUO interpretted data from the UO client so you could use variables instead of having to check the pixel colors of everything in the client. I only wish that such a program existed for EVE, as I can only imagine it would make your job volumes easier. Anyway, I appologize again for being so new to the program. I'm slowly picking up the language so I won't be such an annoyance.

Can anybody confirm that MAX-COTE works with Macro Scheduler 7.4? It's running fine in 7.3, but I don't want to take the chance to upgrade if nobody can confirm it works.

Hey,
After reading over your response, I am still unable to figure out what is going wrong. Yes, of course the station is in the same system as where I am mining, and I have 3 asteriod belts that come after that, and no other bookmarks are in my PNP whatsoever, the station is listed as slot 2, and yes, I do know about the agents tab taking up slot 1 My system is 2.4ghz, with 2 gigs of ram now. I guess Ill keep working on it and see if I can get you any other information on what is going on. Thanks for the response, and thanks for all the effort!

Nah, from the time macro is launched and time it failes I don't even touch the mouse or keyboard

Sat and watched it again this time. It specificlly after filling cargo hold right clicked on slot 2-station dock- and moved to show info and clicked on it. After servers back up I will try to find where in the code that it corilates with what its doing in the game. Sorry to be a bother with this, just wana get it working finnally.

The best way to trap that is to make a logfile and stop it the second it clickes its misstake then you know what part of the code you want as its at the very bottom of the list.

The last time I had that problem was when my Nvidia video card was creating the menus in diffrent places than on upallnite system and was not detecting the triangle for dock or warp to. But that method was changed to take this into account. it is possible on your system that this is happening to you due to menu position being out by a larger amount than the code has taken into account

Check my post on menu positions poping on page9 download the "Loupe" program link posted in the forum and check your menu positions please.

Also check your warping position posted a few pages after this please.

Yep I remember UO assist I still play that on a free shard,
Unfortunaly no one has to date cracked the encription on EVE to be able to create such a packet filtering/sending program. I agree that the power of such a method is one of the best ways to do this, the other is a emulated client that could send all the commands for you, but this would also need the encription cracked.

The diffrance is that OSI did not take any action and so allowed the assist programs to be made, would not be the same on this game if they even stamp on macros.

Uo loved that game... Wish i still had time to play it.
