it'd be easy to make, but just the way some of them are, it looks like if you started from scratch, there's no way you'd think of some of those designs

some people can be pretty creative. it does look like he at the very least got the ideas from something else IMHO, but thats just an opinion, and not a fact.

if you notice all the backgrounds are the exact same, all this is is a template from a site, they all have the same background and logo in the exact same spot, all they want you to do is add text - his text is so simple it could have been done in MSPaint, and his banners look like gimp work - thus meaning the templates text is gimp text, and the background and symbol are premades, ask him to give you a clear background of that and he will simply white on the symbol and give it to you

Oh btw, please do give us the background of the thing without a symbol on it.

i know this sucks. and no it's not stolen or anything.

the dice the people and the army thing were made by me around 3 or four months back.

that's all that's being reused.

1. i wouldn't risk getting my !@#$%^* sued by some company. for a contest

2. i'm not gonna win this and theres no chance of it so it shouldn't matter.

now if it was GOOD then you could try and flame all you want.

and how are these considered templates while the other ones are far more professional and aren't considered that?

whatever. i'm just trying to make a simple logo. not something multi-coulored and 3d. and again i'm open to suggestions.

heh, i dont think anyone really cares if you stole it or not. at least i dont. as long as it looks sligtly cool, i could care less where it came from, assuming there were no breakage of laws involved.

btw kourath your new icon fails!
