confirmed, prices are obviously off at house of fallen leaves.
i suggest just running a new char from CB and you'll probably get killed around the middle of hte blightlands, but that's ok because no exp penalty for death, and if you make it to the blightlands you'll be warped to house of fallen leaves.
another suggestion is obviously sending 12 or 14 slot bags to your new char(s), send some money, and buy as many 21c sashes or belts as possible. here's the reason:
they cost the least at 21c each. they should normally cost 10s93c each from the vendor just like all the other pieces except for the chest armor. they will sell back to vendors after the inevitable fix for 8s75c. so say you fill your inventory of 56 slots with these. 56 inventory slots times 21c equals 11s76c (that's your input cost). now when selling 56 of these, times 8s75c, you will get 4g90s back. that's a little over 41.5 times the original amount you put in.
however, if you do this with the heavy armor chestpieces, they cost 40c each. although they will sell for about 12s5c each, it takes more money to put to buy them in the first place. so it'll cost you about 22s40c to fill inventory, and you'll get back 7g. however, you're only making 31.25 times the money you put in. with the sash's, you're making over 41.5 times the money you put in.
hope i didn't lose ya there with all the math but this'll let you make more money by being able to discern which pieces to buy for max profitablity.
I unerstand the math but the reasoning doesn't make any sense.
For example.
A=chest pieces
B=sash
If I had A) 100 dollars and could invest it for a sure 1000.00$ or B) I could choose to put 50.00$ in and make 900.00$ . Yes choice B gives me the best profit but I still come out less money. If you were not limited by bag space choice B would be wise but you can really only choose A to make the most money. Choice A costs you more but you get the most money back for the limited bag space.
My 2cents.
