Any news on game patch here?? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

You may need to reboot for the changes to take effect. Let me know if that fixes your problem. Also, here in about 30 minutes, I am moving the patch to the XUnleashedBeta.exe as there are other problems that have come up.

What OS are you running? You may need to also install some newer libraries.

Ok i killed a process known as gameutil.exe then rebooted xunleashed. now everything seems to work fine.

I have moved the patch into the beta folder, so to run XU with L2 you will need to launch via the XUnleashed3.0Beta client in your xunleashed folder.

Ok beta is up and working. I had a few errors at first with it loading the ingame gui and also recording macros but it updated and seems to be working. Is there any way to increase the target range with scripts? or will i have to wait for someone to post a plugin/script?

What problems were you having getting the ingame gui up? I am trying to get a list of problems so I can fix them.

My ingame GUI isn't there at all.. All I see is the Xunleashed words in the top left..

System Specs :
Windows 2000 newest updates
2.43Ghz Intel P4
512 Mbs DDR Ram
Radeon 9700 Pro
Crappy onboard sound..
Newest Direct X..

Check your logs for errors. If you are getting any errors about plugins failing to load, you will not get anyting else in game.

To correct that problem, try removing plugins you are not using, or rebooting. The new beta has a bad memory leak we are going to fix, as well as a dll can get stuck in memory and cause it to force plugins to fail as well.

Yeah like ALL of the plugins fail to load..
Ill see what I can do..

That probably means that one of the com libraries got stuck in memory. Remember it is very beta and we are working through problems like these that some may experience. I had that happen a couple of times while testing, and only thing that fixed it was a reboot.

I guess the lack of response shows no interest by WyvernX or anyone for the matter in a L2 script for XU.

Ohh well.. I guess I put to much faith in this.
