- Make sure all the vgextreme files are updated. don't just run the updatevgextreme.exe program, but delete all the other files first (not script files, just the .exe, .dll and .tlb files), then run the updater

- If that doesn't work, it's possible a key may be stuck on your keyboard. Use a keyboard test program to make sure all keys are functioning properly.
Updates fixed it, happily grinding while watching TV. Thanks!

Thanks Beergeek..I did download the latest vgextraoffsets.vbs file, but I failed to place it in the includes directory, and left it in the root directory, so it was still using the old version. The program is working 100x better now!.. I did want to ask a couple quick questions though

1) If I set bGetWOManually to true, it doesn't make a difference. The work order finishes, and my guy runs off to get more work orders instead of just stopping. Am I not doing something properly? I assumed the script checks the status of bGetWOManually somewhere, if true, do movements, if not, stop?

2) When I do get my work orders automatically, it is only getting 1 at a time for me. Not that its a huge deal, but there is alot of wasted time from grabbing a work order, running back, doing its thing, running back, getting utilities, etc. I dont' see a setting anywhere to make sure my guy gets 3 WO's at a time.

Anyways, I'm loving this program either way. I can deal with the kids and still progress!!=)

1: If set to true, it should stop after all wo are complete. I may have got a file version crossed somewhere... i'll check the code later.

2: It should get three work orders, but there is a timeout for number of times it will scroll the list before giving up (this is to prevent an endless loop if a taskmaster is mostly cleaned out of wo and they don't fill a list). If the location where you're crafting has a large list, make sure you use the WOPSF and WOPSR settings to skip the difficults, etc. in your wo list before it starts clicking to see if the wo meets the criteria you specify. A note about these: it skips in pairs, so if you set it to 5, it will scroll down an entire page of 10.

bah, just checked the script... i must have overwritten the change that uses bGetWOManually. No big deal, very easy insertion. I'll post a corrected file later.

Beergeek,

I spent a bit of time on this, but can not figure it out, so thought I would ask after it. For some reason, the bot is not able to identify the complications based on the chat logging. It just does not seem to be working.

Can you or anyone else confirm that it is working? Maybe a higher debut?

Thanks,

OS

osxn, I can confirm the program works fine. In fact, if this script was a woman, I would beg beergeek for its hand in marriage -- Hell, I'm still considering it=). Anyways, all creepiness aside for a minute, I have level leatherworking and tailoring just fine. Make sure you download the NEW vgextraoffsets.vbs file from the start of this forum and replace the old one with it. It goes in the includes directory.

Beergeek, I wanted to ask you about altering your script a bit. I wanted to put in some code for when you are on the last step of creation with a couple hundred action points left, then a complication comes up. Nothing more frustrating than running out of action points when normally you would just ignore a complication and get the completion done=) -- To alter the script, then obviously any updates you give in the future will be ruined. Can you think of any way to alter the script as if to make 'plug-in' type functions? I just don't want to have to change script around after every little update. Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm tired.

All of my problems I had are resolved.. was pure pebkac (problem exists between keyboard and chair). This was my first time ever using a bot so it took me a while to get everything down and understand it. It works like a champ and I have to give many thanks to beergeek for such an awesome bot.

Is anybody aware of some weird problem where the script just ends for no reason? -- It isn't an issue of running out of material or anything, I still have work orders left in my work order recipes.. The script just stops?

glass, I am not aware of the script just stopping. You would almost need to catch it when it happens to get more info. Is it possible someone is standing in front of you when the mouseclicks try to open the table??

As for the modification you suggested, I think it's either in or I had it in at one time to skip comps when on the finishing step for the very reasons you stated, but may have changed it back at some point by request.

In either case, I've resumed working on v2.0 now that wyvernx has been making some significant changes to the vgextreme service and can put a configurable option to turn that on or off.

and by the way, the woman script thing WAS a bit creepy :)

Has this been fixed or a fix for it been posted yet? I have the same problem where i have the setting to true, and the bot starts to run off to the taskmaster. If I change it to false, due to the fact that I have not set my waypoints it goes in circles. So the true setting is being noticed by the code.

I have 2 other issues but I'm going to re-read the whole thread to make sure it was not covered first.

On a side note, I managed 10 levels of crafting in a day and love your bot. I have done macros in AC tool back in the day and I compliment you on your work. Great job!

Hey, you did not forget, did you? :D Sorry to nag, it's just driving me nuts.
Yes I did, thanks for the reminder. Try this file out. It should correct your problem, although I didn't test it
Looks as if the file posted in this post is still valid, it might fix the problem.

Ok, i didn't see this, or I missed it. If i did miss it my apologies.

When the bot runs out of points, it tries a couple of time to continue, then does the /cancecraft or what ever it does. It starts the process over again does 2-3 steps into the work order then then does /cancelcraft again, with no errors, plenty of points, but just stops it, and starts again. It will not do the slash command to stop the crafting a 3rd time.

Any ideas?

That is strange, and I've never encountered that problem.

Not sure off-hand what would be causing that.

At this time, I'm focused on writing version 2.0, which is a complete revamp into vb.NET and don't really want to spend too much time fixing a transient problem on a bot that will be soon rendered obsolete.

Sounds good, its nothing major. When that happens I just restart the bot anyway. No need to bother with this problem then.

I downloaded one of the files you posted the acbinit.vs file i think and it now no longer takes off when its finished with the work orders, while the getwomanualy is set to true.

Thanks for your hard work, and I for one love this bot.
