Peronally I'd prefer the top to be whatever way I'm facing, if I turn the radar should rotate as well, but I'd guess that might be a bit hard to do.

WOOHOO, I found the AMD bug.

I'll post the updated version soon.

As it turns out, if you have a mistake in your .xml (ie the eq2unleashed.xml) and try to call an object that doesnt exist, Pentiums will treat it as NULL. HOWEVER, AMD machines will treat it as a valid object with a garbage pointer.

I'll upload the new version in a sec.

rylan144, besure you installed the Eq2service. Also check your xunleashed logs to make sure you are hooked into the eq2 game, that xu launches XU for you, and that you see the xunleashed logo in the eq2 window.

Well when I ran XUnleashed I configured it to Everquest II. So when I clicked play it launched Everquest II.

Is there something else I was supposed to download?

Again, sorry for my n00biness.

Awesome! I wonder if that will have any affect on the BUTTONS causing the AMD to crash also? I can't test it until this weekend as I'm on the road all week (actually in the Atlanta airport right now)

Right b4 i left for work i was able to load up the radar on my AMD to test. Yep it works now woooo
One thing though, as soon as i clicked to enable "PC Names" it crashed just like it did b4. NPC Names works fine though. Sounds like it might be an easy fix.

damn it Wyv i think you did something on purpose just to make me crash and ruin my perfect record.

I have latest service and everything else is running fine. But if i have the radar plugin going i can't even get past character select. eq2 detects an error and crashes while loading the initial zone.

i just DL the radar few minutes ago to give it a test. so i'm sure i have whatever latest version you have up.

After the AMD patch, eventually I can enter the game screen w/o problem using my crappy AMD XP 3200+ machine. However.... once I open up the Rader plugin, and try to enlarge the map i bit it crashed again.

It works fine on my P4 2.4GHz thou.
