Well this is very interesting. I'd say that its a rune from the BETA testing and hasn't been upgraded in the updtes.

BETA accounts were whiped, or atleast mine was.

I had tons of of these back when I used to rune run and when they did a update about 3 months ago and changd pictures my old runes that I had on low levels the picture stayed like the one he showed. If you read the updates on www.guildwars.com they even say something about it in one of the updates.

I tis not doctored or glitched. The runes did not change from one update to the next if you already found and id them. I can show anyone in game the exact same thing he is showing except it is with the absorption runes. I got a major about two months ago and it looks like a minor. They did this when the game first started so if you salvaged before id'ing it you would not know if you had a minor, major or superior.

This kept the ecomony better because there was no selling unid runes becuase you did not knoe if it was a minor, major or sup.

When they change the appearance everyone salvaged first and sold the unid for $$.

Anyway I got a old major absorption that looks like a minor and can show you if you want

Greybok Arkilian or Stinger Headbanger in game..
