All that needs to happen is it needs to be proven that site stole it from here. Even if its not word for word its illegal.

How would you prove that? I mean exploits are passed around a lot through exploit sites and I'm sure that we got some from other sites which I won't link cuz TA wouldn't be too happy.

Get a court search order. Find out the owner has a subscription / knows people with subscriptions posting information from out site. Civil suit.

No offence meant or anything, but I'm sure that you guys have got stuff on this site that was stolen from somewhere else...?

Look in the ffxi section - I'm 99.9% certain that MrArgus was originally made and released somewhere else...Ditto quite alot of other stuff.

Also - are the sites responsible for the content submitted by their users o_O?

Mr.Argus was spread out quite a bit by me sorta. same way i spread out fastfingers. it was spread out by a few jp people then i got a hold of it then released it to actools/BG forums which in turn made it blow up in numbers. i posted it there because i thought it would help the entire community and it did but made it tons worse :D

and yes they are responsible for their content. if its a blatant copy and paste of people who post here we will ban the account and lock the submission. if it is a copy and paste but with a few changes to make it look like its not we do the same. ban and lock

on a side note you still have not read my pm to you about your submission. please check it when you get a chance or check your submission

Woah so they couldn't exactly countersue back.. I find it really confusing, they could say u stole everything from them, and you wouldn't have any real suffiencient proof to say u didn't... Very confusiing :S

Admin, I PM'd you about the issue with the guide I wrote that was stolen and posted on another website, has anything happened with that issue now that we have a whole staff patrolling and actually taking action for this?
