i would love to know how to be that uber. if you dont want to post it PM it to me plz
It sounds to me like this, They were fully buffed, check and see what 5 piece set tey had, my guess is Dark Fury or Heroic. The Herioc sounds like a joke but if you stack correctly with it you can get block/dodge/evasion/GB all over 30% really easily.

Now you have jedi's out there with full buffs, crystals, gcw, stims, etc... prolly hitting around 50% crit, 20% damage increase, a crap load of parry and other defenses. My guess is if this really happened, they used LOS and ran in dropped a few ran back, rinse repeat.

How close am I? answer for this is dire snare tbh.

With med, ent and self buffs (not counting crystals or GCW), my Jedi sits at over 55% crit.

How bad does that hit crit for? A very generous portion of my hits are crits.

Critical chance is not affected by diminishing returns

Yes it is.
But as a dark jedi you can still get to the 95% critical chance without too much work.
Not that it's really nessecary, if anyone -can't- win a fight as a dark jedi then they need to really rethink their playstyle, because that profession is so rediculously easy to play its hilarious.

critical chance is NOT affected by dimishing returns. As anyone should know after the last buff exploit. With 90% crit chance every attack would be critical.. tested and proven.

Sorry man, this hurts.
Also you are half-right. but you 90% was coming from a buff (ent buff) which is not affected by DR as every other buffs you put on the player.

90% critical on the character sheet is still 90%.
However, the amount of % gained through the stat of 'Critical Chance Increase', 'Pvp critical', 'Carbine Critical', etc etc that adds to this % diminishes on a formula.

Base stats are never subject to diminishing returns on their stat, thats why if you get a bugged precision buff or something, you'll get the same amount of critical through the entire thing.
