Ya I hate when people used Bot NINs, to party, they work ok, but is a pain for people that actually want good Exp/hr.

ok lets do this forget nin or pld.

get a war give him the best shild you can find. now get all shild skill + items they can use and have him tank useing nin sub. ^^ that if you want to know can do prity good. my ls at one point was going to try this on gods and see how it would work. the war who wanted to try it quit lol...

Kinda depends on what you're doing. In a party I guess a taru would be best for the mp to keep chains going. But endgame I'd say galka would be the best. Elvaan if you don't want to be hidiously ugly. Even since they've added devotion and auto-refresh there's really no need for a large MP pool. And yea, I still prefer a nin tank on most things, even though things like cerb or wyrms 2x pld/nins and a nin/drk is probably the best.

depends what context you ask the question. endgame.. galka pld is superior, but in the very beginning , some people may say tar is good because of its superior mp.

in the end, tar pld is far worse, same way tar mnk and tar nin are less useful for larger gods/sea activities

Best Race for Pld is highly debated issue. However know with the the new Neckpiece that Gives Refresh at 85%+ HP MP becomes less and less of a problem. Also, now that PLD have Auto refresh yet again MP because less and less of a problem. Galka have the most HP and most VIT which both are what PLD rely on. I would now have to say, though i hate to say it, Galka PLD are probably the best as of right now. With MP being Less of a factor at end game and with all these auto-refresh on PLD now. HP+VIT= Strong PLD end game and thats what this game is all about :)

Give any race the -dmg gear (especially a defending ring) plus a shadow mantle and you got yourself a damage taking fool, so galka doesn't really matter. And now that new sword that has -dmg on it helps even more. But, as said before, taking less damage will never be better than taking NO damage (nin).

mp doesnt make the taru a valid good tank, what makes it a good tank is that it is at a disadvantage to begin with so whoever plays it will have to be good making it better than a person who chooses galka for the hp/vit so are lazy because they think they have it easier.

player skill, thats all that makes ANY race good at a job.
