Dont waste your time or money this does not work, we had to change servers anyways because we where getting rid of one account and transferred a few characters over one being a ent and then we tried to respec to a combat class from the profession changer started the combat class at lvl 5 so dont waste your time now you should state wether to use a pre-nge character or post-nge just dont tell people to create a character and lvl it to 90 because it wont work, maybe thereis something with pre-nge characters because you automatically get a respec screen when you log in for them.

Can anyone confirm if this has worked since Monday (7/30/07)? A friend did it on Sunday and it worked so I was going to try it but a guildie said that it didn't work for them on Monday at about 12pm PDT.

As I stated we did this yesterday 7/30/07 and it did not work on a post-nge character I am not touching any of my pre-nge characters like most say it becomes pricey after awhile unless you have the exact process your trying to duplicate, the orignal poster did not actually state all of the mechanics that he took was this a pre-nge character or post-nge character which makes a big difference also the process after the character logs after being transferred all of this is important so once again dont waste your time or money.

The friend that it worked for said that his was a new character on a new account (definitely post NGE). He said that he:

• 1. Created a new entertainer on his post NGE account
  2. Leveled to 90 ENT without putting in any expertise along the way
  3. Transferred from server to server (no account switching)
  4. Logged into the 90th Entertainer on the new server
  5. Ran straight to the Profession Counselor and changed to Commando (90th level)

I haven't been able to chat with the guildie to find out the specifics on her character yet.

Well the account i used was only about 28 days old. This does work but like people say it can bug so it is risky but like people have said it has worked for them. But me and my friends did this with all new accounts. No old ones. And my bro decided he wanted another 90 so we did it yesterday. And yes it worked again.

did the same thing did not work created a lvl 90 ent trasferred to another server ran directly to profession changer first one was free choose BH and bam lvl 5.

Just a quick question on this.....Has anyone in the last 24 hours gotten this to work. This could get kinda spendy if they have nerfed it. Awaiting a note from anyone who might have tried this in the last 24 hours, ie anyone do this post 7/31/07 or on Aug 1st?

i have a friend do it just after the bug fix......but if you ask me i think he did it before. anyone feel lucky?

I just did it today 8/1/07 at 10:40 PM EST. I went from Starsider to Sunrunner with no expertise. When I got in-game I did NOT equip any clothes or assign any expertise. I talked to profession person and successfully respeced to a level 90 Jedi.

I'm trying it for the second time, and I have noticed that after the character transfer, the first time I try to log on to the recently transfered character, it always freezes at "conencting to galaxy", with no progress bars. So I'm forced to ctrl alt del and restart the client, and THEN it works. But then the exploit didn't work for me.

lol it worked perfectly for me this time. I failed once, and this time I got it. I thought I was going to fail too, since I had to log in twice, some reason I ended up in bestine, so I RAN to eisley, went into combat few times, and finally clicked the respec. And it worked. My guess is says either clear expertise (which I just did this time) or don't use expertise at all.
