Civil Suites Against Sites That Steal Information : General Discussion

Section 102 of the copyright law, title 17, United States Code, states:

"In no case does copyright protection for an original work of authorship extend to any idea, procedure, process, system, method of operation, concept, principle, or discovery, regardless of the form in which it is described, explained, illustrated, or embodied in such work."

May I enquire as to how you intend to back up your case since 'software exploit processes' are not protected by copyright?

True but the following doesnt apply.

- Breaking an eula when you join a site (AKA a contract).
- Sharing trade secret information.
- Making profit off anothers findings.
- Copying word for word information.
- Posting trade sourced computer code.
- Posting computer programs.

See copyright cant apply to some things but other aspects it does. It boils down to people stealing information posting it as thier own and trying to make a profit. We havepeople join for free if they are active members or share information.

However we arent going to allow people to steal our information post it as thier own and attempt to make a profit off it.

!@#$%^&*!

you sued those websites because they were telling exploits for !@#$%^&* free, your the one making a profit off it!
to my knowledge, neither sites were making any money
off it, your the one that has to get sued. AND, some people know, you cant legally sue them. Period.

PS- !@#$%^&* OFF

let people do their own !@#$%^&* thing, you stole exploits from both, and both sites members have figured that out.

Think about it this way. Imagine the site was free...
Leachers would come and go, taking hacks and using them. Most games will be ruined...
Nobody would post hacks, because why bother to put any effort into it...its free!
Ok back to reality. News flash buddy, YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY TO GET PREMIUM. 2 Options: Either submit something to show your commitment...and if you have no will to share you pay 25$.

So shut the !@#$%^&* up, and go somewhere else leacher.

example of a leacher is someone who comes and leaves nothing for stuff like hacks and !@#$%^&*, if i were a leacher, i wouldve wasted $25 on # hacks, in which i didnt, i spoke truth about wtf tault is doing.

and how did either sites get profit?

if your so smart, tell me that

If you want to talk please dontuse profanity. As well those sites where making profits. What they do is they have advertisements then they spam all over the place the have free cheats. Then with adwords they make a profit stealing information and having adword clicks. In turn they make a profit.

Oh well the rule was they had to keep that on thier site. People can learn how to block it if they want. However he agreed to a rule on his site if he breaks it then thats a different matter. I was nice to this kid and let him get off pretty easily. Other people wanted me to go after him 100%. But i see no reason in ruining a 17 year old kids life because he made one bad mistake. We arent jerks but we do have interests to protect.

I dont know if you have looked into it but i bought a $1 guide for Wow on ebay to see what was up with it. Scanned for viruses and found non so I opened it and found the guide for 1-60 in 4 days with Horde Hunter and well as several outdated guides.
I then stumbled onto this site and found this was most likely where the original information came from for that.
I know alot of other info came from Allakazam and other free hint/guide sites.
Thought you would like to know
