If you want my opinion, I think all non-longbow ranged weapons (including throwing axes) should be able to be poisoned.. Also I still hold the opinion that mercs should get envenom.. But still keep the same spec levels. To me if you are going to put a class in the guild of shadows, you might as well make it consistant with the other members..

I am beginning to feel that the priority list at mythic
is
Albion
koffee
bagels
Hibernia
buying christmas presents
fixing plumbing
Midgard.
I mean seriously.
Albion has the most classes
I am not one to complain but a class that kills reds while youre afk???

I thought Migard was supposed to have best fighters
hibernia bowmen and mages
and Albion being a somewhere all about average, therefore being able to wear plate.
Now..
albs have the strongest mages generally,a hibernia fian kicks a warriors !@#$%^* with no problem..
2 paladins solo the lords in df..

See I play on the euro servers.. so I am a bit behind development
but is this pro albion trend really that noticeable in the future

Right...which is why everytime I play...albs are getting there butts kicked. Last time I checked....hibs were VERY powerful. Mids....still better then albs....but Zergs have been nerfed for a long time.

After playing a few alb classes past 40, necro, sorc, infil, caby, theuragist, friar... Really convinced that alb is the most overpampered, motelycotled
realm imaginable... can't help but laugh every time I hear Mythic use the word "balance"

You have got to be kidding me. Honestly, how many Spiritmasters do you see in the game at any one time? I've seen 1 spiritmaster take out 4 50's including a Friar, a Paladin, A Reaver, and A Cleric all just using a pbaoe. If thats not overpowered....you need to open your eyes and see that Mids got it goin on.

lmao look at the sorc's mezz range 1850 get some %range+ and theres 2k range for a AE mezz, which is the longest range mez in game, and if u look when they do standing of population of mids u forget to realize that they dont take into accnt the inactive ones they just count all that play no tristan there are lik 250 some mids on when the server is over 1k

Hmm... my son has this friar on mordred. Interesting to watch him solo grape con df knights... no to be outdone though. Caby runs up at what? 140% speed... amber pet is stunning him for 2 seconds every 3 seconds. He's pretty much immobilized, while the casters hitting him with dots and life taps.
If my guess is correct, he's likely a spirit/body caby, and his pet has every kind of buff... which i believe would be... what? dex, dex/quic, strength, haste, armor too right?.. /shrug, Im told that matter cabies are even better.
With thie new expansion, I was hoping to to get my son over to play on Merlin with me. He quickly replied that mid doesn't have any good classes. And, on my part, I can't play alb classes 'cause it makes me want to puke.
Hey, where's our stealth mezzers? Plate armour? Can we get a few more classes to choose from here?! hey! hey! where you going?! admit it! Alb is the "low difficulty realm"!

Actually you are VERY wrong. They look at only active players. This is obvious everytime when they release a "/level 30" because they specifically say (Counting only active players). Also, do you know how rare a Mind Sorc is? I've seen maybe 30 sorcs out of the 120 - 150 I know on Guinivere that have any amount of spec in Mind. The range is long but the mezz lasts much shorter than the others.

No I think it's 80%, I'm not sure but I believe it's the song classes (i.e. Bard, Minstrel, Skald) who have highest % speeds. As far as Mid not having any good classes is crap. Healer is amazing, SM specced right is unstoppable as I've stated before, Bone Dancers...don't even get me started. Plate? The only reason we get plate is because our melee damage is FAR below that of the mid realms. I have a Berserker and even after the left axe nerf I still do on average 300 - 500 dmg without being berseked. Stealth mezzers? You mean stealth slow? But that poison...your stealth gets it too. A few more...I think we have 1 more class. Come on....actually get an alb to 50 and play against the other realms before you start talking about we're so much better.

hehe.. I have 3 level 50 albs, 1 50 mid and 1 50 hib. BY FAR ALB was the EASIEST and extremely powerful. And I have the right to say that I HAVE 3 ALBS!

You guys are a joke if you think Albs are not overpowered - they are sick. But I'll still play mine.. *snicker*

This guy drmagoo only wants to whine about albs so that mythic will continue to pamper his character. Anyone who says albs are not overpowered is completely idiotic to what he is saying. I mean the facts are way too strong, look just because YOU don't know how to play your class doesn't mean the class sucks, I think there's only 1 gimp class on albs the rest are definately playable and uber.

First of all. It's not a cryin stage, it's a discussion. Second....supply some facts to the stage rather then saying "I have 3 50 albs...so I know". You need to back up the arguement you use with facts not laying a claim that has no validity and really no use in the arguement. So to further show that you Hibs are the prolly the best classes...lets take a look shall we? Animist....by himself could take a group of 3 Mids or Albs. A good one knows how to use his turrets and polly went full Arboreal. Blademaster, 3 attacks nough said. Bard... come on speed healer? Sick. Now you Mids. Bone Dancer, pet healers, tanks, and casters with the ability to mez and bomb. Savages used to be sweet but they seemed to hve dropped down a bit. Runemasters, killing spree from inside a keep. Healer, thats an alb Cleric with the crack ability of a Sorc into one. Sick. Berserkers, nerfed as of late but the dmg they is insane. So instead of simply saying "I know cause I play" use some facts and don't be a troll.

Cabby pets DO run at 140% speed, not only that but also pet hasted at 15%.

Runemasters do have it going on, I'll agree to that - but a good Fire Wizzy can take a runemaster any day of the week.

OMG Blademasters? They are about the most gimped class out there - oo! I have a special that gives me 3 attacks (big deal that the 3rd attack hits for way less than the other two and miss alot).

Sorcerors, suppose to be the equivalent of a hib mentalist. Two dots, that do more than the mana mentalists dots then top that off with a 80 second mesimerize (baseline at that). 154% chant speed (also baseline, enchanters baseline speed is only 153%).. Need I say more?

Theugists also get the 154% baseline chant speed (on hib enchanter is the only one to get a baseline speed, on mid Runemaster is the only one to get a baseline speed and on both cases the speed is only 153%),

I could go on and on and on, ad nausem. But you get the picture, just investigate the classes yourself you'll see... Think 1% don't mean much? Think 5 damage doesn't mean much? Ask any mathematician how much 1% can change the outcome of an equation.

At any rate I'm not here to argue, I know what I know from over 2 years experience, albs have always been the upper-handed realm. In fact look at the name of the game "Dark Ages of CAMELOT".

I am a mathematician, and yes 5 damage and 1% can make a difference on many equations but when you're talking about DAOC at levels 45 and higher...things change. Small percentages mean very little, because they are just that "small" percentages (especially when we speak of things that do not vary... i.e. base speed, it's different for 1% of health and so on). I will now take you seriously, you gave facts not just random things to say as you did before. I HIGHLY doubt Dark Age of "Camelot" means that they favor the Albion side of things. It's a name they chose to grab attention for those buying the game...everyone seems to eat Arthurian legend up. I'm pretty sure (after having been to Mythics hq in Fairfax recently for an interview and giving it some deeper thought) that no one realm is "more uber" then the other. It seems that each realm has it's weaknesses and strengths and most arguements that say the contrary are simply arguements over one sides weaknesses and how the other sides stregths are "stronger". Prior to NF I noticed Mids had most of the keeps and artifacts of any of the realms, Hibs and Albs seemed tied. Now that NF is out...it seems we're seeing a great mix of who's winning and who's not and all realms are involved. So I think I recind my statement on Mids or Hibs are "stronger" but I stand by the arguement that Albs are not stronger. We all have the same spells but each class has different access to them. Go through and look at the spells list in the Herald.

Yea the DAoC name was a cheap shot and was only meant for tourism effect.

But I disagree with the 1% at 45 or higher meaning very little. Being a mathematician you know that the higher the ratio the more that 1% means in difference.. 1% of 10 is only 0.1, but 1% of 100 is 1 and it increasingly climbs from there on up. Now whether 153% versus 154% speed is a big difference, well thats hard to answer. Why not goto gaheris and do a speed contest and race the two and find out, personally I think it's a enough of a difference to make mention of it.

Also you mentioned 1% of health is a different story, well what about a 5 - 15 point difference in healing spells? Check out some of the alb spells and at what levels they get those spells, compare them with the equal of hibs/mids classes and when "they" get the same type of spells. There is something odd about it, not an "uber" difference but enough of a difference to make mention of it.

I also regress my previous statements of slander, But you didn't leave no choice with the whole "You have got to be kidding me. " and "Last time I checked....hibs were VERY powerful" comments.
