Guide to not freeze on boat! : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Ok i posted this on the submission guide but all u ppl who arent premium members should see it. I get asked alot how do i improve my chances of not freezing on the boat. I set up a simple 4 step guide on how to not freeze while on boat. It doesnt work 100% of time but ive been on boat 30 or so times and froze once doing this method. Here it is:

To prevent freezing from happening on the boat do the following...

1. Stand still in a area in the middle of the ship so when it turns u dont fall off...
2. DO NOT SIT
3.do NOT open up a shop
4.Go to graphic options and put on minimum frame to prevent lagging.


Also if u do freeze wait 10 min or so if u just left and then restart u will end up at nearest town. REMEMBER u r still on the boat ur connected to the server still. If u quit right away u will end back at the town u wanted to leave.

Or just have a 2mbit+ Connection with a good grafic card to keep up Fps and you can even sit down and sell items in a shop

u still freeze man... i have a radeon 9800 pro and 100mbit connection and i still freeze... only twice tho.

i dought your on a 100mbit connect inless your on a Edu. And personly i dont think any one who likes Dragon Ball is not even old enough for high school just my opion

im 16 im a big anime fan I can't help it and I have 35gigs deticated to dbz series of DVD quality. I love dbz best show on the planet. I do not watch the cartoon network crap. This has blood guts and some swears. Cartoon network had to edit like 2-3 min of content on each episode alone to make it viewable to young kids. Everyone thinks its a kid show but in reality it is meant for teens and young adults. Also im old enough for high school...

Also yes dbz ownz all. Just look at my avatar it proves it.


Also i use comcast on a LAN we share the 100mbits but i hog it all so im probibly getting 50-70mbits of that. Thats way more than you recommended and yes... I still freeze occasionally (happened twice)

well hooking up at work i get about 180 mbps and i have 9800XT, and 3.2 intel oc'ed to 3.8 right now... its all expensive !@#$%^&*, and i still happen to freeze lawlz... gheyed... owned... whateva you want to call it... i got shafted

I still think Dbz was over done and there is alot better anime out there via ( Hellsing,Love Hina,Berzerk,Trigun,Slayerz,Demon Hunter X,Akira,Ninja Scroll....so many.. Any way all better then dbz ^.^

boo yah im on comcast too and i have 100mps goodness
the first time i rode the boat from TI i opened a shop and fell off
i was lost in the ocean for over an hour and had no scroll of escape and
couldnt even petition a GM had a friend do it and got a free tele to gludin
my trip back to TI i sat in the middle on the grate thing only slid just a bit once
but didnt fall off sitting in the middle worked just fine for me on the trip back too and besides
i dont get lag on the ship i only get lag in towns....all those damn afk merchants

your internet connect nor your computer will do you any good in L2
the lag you are experiancing is all serverside lag
its THEIR connections, its THEIR computers (plus a very annoying memory leak in the game...doesnt seem to like to unload unused textures. gah)
so just wait for gold when 2/3 of ppl leave and itll be lag free. lol

well your watching that weak cartoon network DBZ the real stuff is awesome nothing like it i find its best to watch the originals with english subtitles

i am a big fan but i just dont like all that filler
how many Z fighters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
just 1 but it takes 4 episodes DBZ rules

I think GT is the worst series. They ruined it.... DB is pretty good though especially the world marial art tournaments but GT is just.... lame Too bad it didnt live up to dbz. I would rather have 1 more saga of dbz than have GT.

=) I like Akira, Legend Of The Four Kings, you know, Manga Films I just think DBZ is too childish... esespecially for a 16 year old, I got my toys thrown away at a very early age, it hurts like theirs something missing but at this age I think 16 year olds are adults and should NOT be watching cartoons, thats from another 16 year old
