How has L2 been since beta stopped? : Lineage 2 General Discussions

When i was playing the L2 beta there was a whole lotta people lol, and there was a lotta chinese(on regular american servers) and botters//macro'ers everywhere, way overcrowded to, i was wondering since the L2 beta has stopped, has there been less, non-english speaking people, botters and hackers?

both chinese and english people has decreased obviously (since p2p)
but since NCsoft didn't ban chinese IP, there are still chinese players on the server.

and when you say 'hackers' do u mean using third party programs or using exploits? because if u are reffering to exploiters, there are still some (like the people in tault for example )

i think NCsoft's decision of not banning chinese IP was wise. well they make more money that way, but also because the chiense players shouldn't be discrimated agianst.

everyone just assumes they r all 'botter's or 'hackers' without proof, a lot of em just dun want to speak (maybe because their english is bad).

anyway, to finish off ur question, their should be less people because of P2P

but i am not sure how many people are actually using third party programs. i dunno if they even exist. maybe , but as of now, their existence isn't widely known.

theres way to few people on Gustin it seems right now i cant wait till i can transfer.

ya lol... TOO many players isnt good. but the whole point of mmorpg is so u can interact with other players...if u can't even find anyone, might as well just buy a single player rpg or something

yeah gustin does lack players=( but atleast i can find some good farming spots. i think when the transfer server is available alot of ppl are gonna make their way to one of the newer servers though.

yep. u just gotta balance it between overcrowding and undercrowding.
too many people is a hassle. too little people is boring
