why only for premium members?

sounds like greedy money spinning to me...

where ever there are MMO's there always seems to be someone out there willing to lower themselves into making money out of people. I find it rather sad that a forum that should openly help people for free is in fact only doing so for money, but maybe i just see the world in a different light and should take off my rose tinted glasses? I'll leave you to decide.

Did we say pay? Nope i always encourage people to share. Share what you know and you can get a free membership then.

A. you need a premium acount to view the macros forum
B. you have to pay for a premium acount or so i'm lead to believe

A + B = you have to pay to view the marcos forum and thus pay to learn what it tells you.

If i'm mistaken about A or B i'm very sorry and utterly admit how wrong i am, if i'm not then my previous statement stands.

Nope thats right but you dont have to pay. I always suggest people to submit things first for premium.

Perhaps you could point me to a link in the forums where i can view the macros information without having to pay? i've tried searching but could not find any such information on here that i can access...

thanks and sorry for any offence if any is/was caused. I would recomend reviewing the way such things are presented in the future though as i'm sure many people who come to your forums are put off by the fact alot of it seems to be premium exclusive. If this is not the case its probably something that should be shown with alot more clarity and transparancy.

thanks

well it needs to be hidden from people because if we allowed people to see it they would mearly leech and not support the site.

so basicly you do have to pay to learn about macros then?

as it stands i managed to find the information i wanted on another forum which i could, but wont post here. I get the impression posting a link to another forum that freely provides such information would not be very popular with you guys.

all i can say is i find it all very sad and i think your agruments about leeching are irelivant as a forum is designed for the people, for free knowlage and free expression... thus a forum is put simply a ground of continual leaching and thats NOT a bad thing. People need to be able to find something out, chat, be happy and go about their day with ease.

sadly i think money tends to genrally always win out in the end and i guess thats just the way of the world and the people who feed upon it.
