Question about Basic Harvesting Items : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

Do they have a point/purpose? I bought a Basic Mining Pick and have not really noticed any difference in my mining... any help or support is appreicated.

As far as i know they have no use what so ever. Maybe they'll force you to buy some sort of mining tool to mine in the near future.

I doubt it, they would have removed them by now. They may still have some use yet.

I have heard they increase the chance to pick a rare by 10%, but since that is so rare as is how many people actuaqlly notice the difference between 1/900 and 1/1000. I say if u have the space to hold them then you should

*hmm* I heard that they never were actually implemented but they were going to make it so you had to buy them to harvest anything at all, but I haven't heard anything official.....
