Fissure of Armor Walkthrough : GW Discussion

Hey guys do we have a Fissure of Armor Walkthrough or know of one i have saved about 750k and am looking to find this place any help would be awesome.

To get Fissure armor you must be ascended & enter the Fissure of Woe (FoW) at Temple of Ages (when America has favor)

1) First have your money & supplies ready! For Fissure platemail you'll need:
- 75K (cost of armor 15K each)
- 400 iron
- 40 deldrimor steel
- 105 globs of ectoplasm (collect in Underworld)
- 105 obsidian shards (collect in FoW)
2) Enter FoW by kneeling in front of Balthazar altar. Talk to ghost & pay 1k to enter.
3) Find & complete the Forgemaster quest. After clearing the temple, get 2 more quests at the temple.
4)After you complete the last 2 quests, the forgemaster is supposed to give you the option to craft new armor.

I've only made it to step 3 (very long endeavor, ppl start droppin) and I dont know if patch has changed it. I've heard the temple quests can be buggy though.

is there someplace we can view screenshots of other peoples fissure armor? i just a few weeks ago got it for my monk. I got the saintly raiment. It is dyed gold, using the yellow + dye remover formula, it hardly changed anything, it would be a dark brown otherwise.


I plan on getting all 4 Elementalist armors (male)

besides the fact that it looks cool, what is the point of getting it?..

i mean seriously i wouldnt invest that much money/time into getting something that just looks cool for a game.

whats the stats for the dif armors, now that would be a nice guide.

The stats for the different armour are the same stats as the Droknar armour and the 15k armour. The armour just looks better.

Is Obsidian Armor stronger than Droknar or 15k Armor?

This is my Ranger. Just got the fissure armor, druids. I know it's not as fancy as most of the other fissure, but it's much less whored, which is why I like it.

I don't see many rangers with FoW armor, so I feel better having it with him. Instead of being an Ele or Warrior that has the same !@#$%^&* as everyone else. hehe

what would be the total cost of buying the FoW armor that has same stats as Platemail for warrior?

roughly 1,583,000 gold

or 1,583 platinum.

thats assuming :
9k per ecto bought from store
5k per obsidian shard
10g per iron ingot
1k per deldimere steel ingot (these fluctuate a lot for some reason but the last time i checked i thought they said 1k.. i could have been wrong)
oh and not to mention 75,000 to boot for the gold required.

fissure armor is the famed 1.5 million gold armor...

You never buy the whole thing, unless your as rich as hell, it would take longer to get the money than the items anyways.
