From what i have seen, SE keeps a copy of the coordinates you have before using POS.exe or the fleetool.
How i know this?. Well after the last update, if i get dc'd after using pos.exe, when i log back in, my character would respawn in the position before i used the pos.exe.
This would happen even if i dc like 3 hours after using pos.exe, as long as i dc'd in the zone that i was originally used the pos.exe.
I believe this is how GM's check whether you used a hack or not. eg. if someone called GM on you, they'd check the position they they have on their servers and match it up with your current position.
Not sure how long SE keeps a record of your previous position before using a tele or speed hack, but from my experience, your position record on SE's server resets everytime you zone. eg. like if i don't want to leave a paper trail of you using POS.exe in qufim, i'd zone into qufim > use POS.exe > zone into the nearest zone (eg. behemoth dominion or the tower) > then zone back out to qufim.
IF i did this, my position on SE's server would reset back to normal, and if i dc'd, i'd respawn at the spot i dc'd at, instead of at the spot that i originally was before i used the tele hack.
Hope this was understandable. lol.
that sounds consistent with the other guy who warped all over Valkurm Dunes for 4 hours and ended up being suspended. Maybe the GM saw him, but if they checked where he's been after teleporting, that might have been one way he was caught.
The GM did mention that he saw a large number was "warps" from 9pm to 2am, which was the amt of time he was in the zone. Hmm, exciting!
