Realm/Server transfers : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Hi all,

I am curious to know if anyone else knows anything about the server/realm transfers blizz is talking about opening up. There saying you can transfer any toon to any server for a small fee. Anyone know when there planning on implementing this or know any other details about this? All info is appreciated.

i know it is not being planned for next major update, but it is planned. transfers mean that any character may be transfered once for a fee. for that fee you can chose a new server (same type, pvp, pve, etc) and if you wish, a different account as well.

realm to realm transfers * any server you want * WILL cost 75$

hoping to stock up on pristine black diamonds and move to a different server, they're only 2g on my server atm and it sucks when you want your epic mount

yeh so it prevents people from from server hoping. Blizzard its self said itll cost 75$ at Blizzcon.

how else do you think they can afford those 5UP3R L33T GMs

So the transfer will cost more than the game? WTF is up with that?

That can be real, im in a high pop server, with REALY LONG queues i was hoping for my entire guild to move to a low population realm. Even if i decide to cash the ridiculous amount of $75 to move to another freaking realm some people will not be able to.

If they want to avoind hoping then put a cap of 3 months or something on the transfers.

who knows, they may decide to lower the price, or even make it payable in game currency. we never know til it is released

blizzard has had some pretty dumb idea but i think this tops it not the server xfer i think thats ok but 75$ thats more then the freaken game i mean they already let you transfer for free ex kil'jaeden to boulderfist and such they should just make it like 15$ but only one per acount

seems to be about the same on most of the European servers, can't speak for the American ones. the drop rate was increased so much that they drop so often you could supply your entire server's palladin population from one raid
