easy money around lvl 50 : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

from lvl 50 to lvl 55, an easy way to get a lot of money and solo xp with a small chance to get master chests is splitpaw farming.

The related zone is Upper tunel. here is my guide.

You must go to the upper tunel entrance (in the thundering steppes side). If you used the azure shard, zone out from splitpaw.
Once you are in upper tunel, go to the first room. Kill all the bats. they drop valuable items and chest. sometime nothing. Turn right and kill the two spiders. Don't waste your time on the Linked spiders, just kill the two solo.
Now you can head for the second room. here you have just to kill
-3 solo spiders
-4 solo gnolls (or 6 if you want more blood).
and now?
Nothing it's done! go out that's all for this turn

You've just to repeat this path again and again and again.
the xp will slowly grow. slowly but surely.
and the chests drop rate is very good, but randomly sometimes. So don't try it just 10mins.
1 hour will be more representative

I've got a question here...I've been farming the !@#$%^&* of Splitpaw lately and have made decent coinage...but I have never seen a Master Chest drop...is this only lvl 50+ ?I'm about ready to hit 50 level 49 currently and my second comp/alt is 45 almost 46...if this is true do both of my toons have to be lvl 50+ in splitpaw for a master to drop ? And I am fighting up in the Upper Tunnels.

I've got 3masters in 3 months of farming. between the lvl 48 and the lvl 54.
But I've spent hours in this zone.

but common chests are droped very very frequently.

if you wana farm masters...t4 masters--hunt named in runnyeye, t5 masters--named in cazic thule

I have had one master drop in Splitpaw and I think if I remember correctly I was in my 30's level wise. Haven't tried it yet in my 50's.

interesting more the reason to get splitpaw
