escrow camping : EVE Online General Discussions

My new favourite game in Eve is escrow camping.

so far i have had :

Nightmare bpc for 100m
Providence for 20m
Raven BPO for 795,000
Maller BPO for 300k
Moa BPO for 300k
lots of other less valuable stuff for free
(in a week)

for this game you need
- patience
- a couple of hundred mill to start with
- good eyesight
- vague knowledge of how much things are worth

I am personally waiting to get to level 2, where the idiot drops the tech 2 bpo for 30 isk

people do !@#$%^&* up on escrows, happens all the time, like he says you just gotta have a sharp eye.

Is there any less expensive escrows to get started with you might recommend? And I'm still trying to figure out how escrows work because I just did a heavy logistics drone for 45k but I see they sell here for 140k... so how do I make the profit?

OK. You have to tweak the settings on the escrow search screen for best results:

Set to Show only Affordable and All Escrows, wait for data to arrive from server. Sort by item name. Ignore un-named or strangely named items, thay is an advanced topic...

OK, most pilots want to see the item and the best way toi sell the item is to name it exactly right, so most items will sort together (True Sansha stuff together, Dark Blood stuff tobether, Ships by their name, but BPC's and implants are different, BPC x_name_x and X2 Perception implant forms being common.

The point is, if you see five itrems for one million and one identical item for less than half, that one is a bargain! Buy it and put it back on market for the regular price. You can put it back on escrow market without even going to the object's system, so its much better than market trading! (Hint: market trading is a major waste of time, compared to escrow speculating.)

In no time you will have several million in sales per day of items you bought for half price or less!


Warning: Never invest more than half your wealth on this. If you have ten million, do not invest the whole ten million! You often have emergencies so only buy what you can afford!


And NEVER SELL CHEAP!
