The best way to make gold with a few levels is to really concentrate on the gold making part. I know that seems kind of silly (and obvious) but you aren't going to get the gold you need by going out and doing quests. You really have to concentrate on making the gold. You can't try to level yourself quickly AND try to make the gold you need. Just go out and get the gold you need, then come back and level.
Like was previously mentioned, SM is a great place to farm for gold and good item drops, (all the while gaining xp towards your next level, but most of the time this isn't going to happen as much). Also, it is imperative that you sell EVERYTHING at the Auction house. This is mentioned a lot, but I feel it is important to mention again. Though, i'm sure by your level you have already figured that out.
Depending on your professions, go out and just gather a whole lot of raw goods, and sell them at the auction house. If you have mining, just go and mine mine mine. Stacks of copper ore can sell for 80-85s a stack, depending on the server. Dun Morogh (especially around the quarry) is a great place to mine for copper, if you are alliance. If you are horde, Durotar and the mountains near the Crossroads are good places. Obviously, you aren't going to be gaining much XP doing this, but you aren't trying to level, you're trying to make money remember?
Some tricks to use if you need a little more gold is to go into the auction and look for rare (or not so rare) items that are way underpriced. Often, people will forget to put a starting bid price, making it possible to get some really cheap buys if you just wait out the auction. Think of it like a simple stock market: buy low, sell high. If you can buy something thats worth 30g, but its only up for 20, buy and it sell it for 30. Of course, make sure that it will actually sell for that, otherwise you can get stuck and not make a profit. But just pay attention to the AH, there are plenty of good bargains out there.
In conclusion, the best way to make that money is to say to yourself "I'm going to make this much money," then go out and use your professions, run some good instances, and sell stuff for profit. Then come back and get yourself to the next level. If you try to do both at the sometime, you'll just be counterproductive, you won't make as much money and you won't level as fast.
