Massive Damage? : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I was just looking at the stats for my server and noticed some incredibly amazing damage stats. How is this possible?

Highest Melee Hit: Deus 84,843 points of damage - Vyr'drais Claw
Highest Magic Hit: Ledbetter 410,778 points of damage

The item for the Melee hit isn't that exciting. It is duel-wield with a damage rating of 27.5. Good, but nowhere near explaining that kind of damage. It's also a 40th level weapon. I'm 40, and even with heroics, I'm not close. Is there some sort of special circumstance/quest in game that boosts your damage for a period that would account for this?

Just wondering...

These amazing hits usualy happen on raid mobs that are really debuffed and that person happens to land thier rare Heroic Opertunity.

These are out of game now until another glitch shows up.

They were all done with Illusionist spell reflect. If you look, all the toons should be MT's for thier guild.

The Spell reflect worked on DoF Mobs who cast a spell that took 50% of the targets HP....so reflected a mob with 500K hp lost 250K.

Was pretty cool while it lasted but this glitch led to the nerfing of Reflect and it no longer works.

another way that peeps get highest hit is to duel a low level and blast em, also, guardians had an explosion/kamakazi type spell, conjurors get a spell that hits their pets for 150% and that goes towards magic hit, and finally, one way is you can raid buff yourself, have a level 60 brigand debuff like a level 20 or sumthin and use your best attack on the mob
