60k gil the easy way (for me) : FFXI General Discussions

in the spirit of sharing i will let you know how i did it.

bastok in second place (might work in 1st place, not sure)

go to the music shop in bastok market.

buy the uncanny etude bard spell (level 72 or so) for around 80k.

it sells in jeuno for 150k.

i put mine up for 140k. it seems to sell about 1 every 2 - days according to the history (on Garuda server).

i made 60k (140k-80k = 60k) on friday, saturday and sunday (180k total profit).

i dont know if it works better on weekends than on weekdays. (i only bought three to try this and then bastok went into 3rd place so i couldnt buy anymore).

if i got the spell wrong please forgive me, just check the Jenuo AH for the one that sells for 150k. i am pretty sure it has the word "uncanny" in it and is in the 70's level.

i do this on Garuda and hope to keep doing it. if one of you do it i may have to undercut you to 130k ( still 50k profit )

and i'm sure many know about buying 12 distilled water from shop next to AH in Lower Jeuno for 144 gil and selling for 2000 gil 10 steps away at AH. seems to work better on weekends for me. still about 1500 gil profit after Ah tax.

That kind of gil is absolutely nothing due to inflation nowadays.
Distilled water re-selling still makes me laugh.

People are moron's when they buy it in jueno its sold right next to the AH in the port, but sadly enough people still buy it from the AH for 100 times the price.

Buy Ninja Scrolls in Jueno and sell them in Bastok that kinda works to.

Theres alot better ways of making money on than this mate.. ^^

well sounds pretty good but it might be different for other servers
like iv always felt that if i can find something at a merchant so can another person i dnt like making myself believe ppl are that lazy they'd rather spend 10k more gil than just walk for a few mins
make 60k? prolly just take out lots of bees at once some AOE gets a few stacks of beehive chips u know on Hades its 30k a stack a Jeuno
that there is some pretty easy gil for about 1-2hrs work im sure there r better ways but for the sake of the topic title "60k easy way" thers my 2cents lol =P

It actually is a very good way to make money. Its how I funded my first 30 levels of smithing. Buying in one place for extremely cheap, then selling at the AH for a profit. AH camping is also an easy way to make a LOT of money, but it requires a LOT of patience.
