i read the fishing info/dump / anything else I could find, and I know this si probably in there somewhere, but I read it kinda fast as it was long, and didnt see it. Feel free to flame me or w/e..but I was wondering...

the XU fisher by asl does allow you to make it so you dont catch monsters right? Like say in SSG where stygian pugs can be pulled up, the bot would never pull one up because it goes by stamina or w/e. i havent fished in a while since the new patch came out, but I hear different sweat animations come up for different sized fish including a way to know if its a mob or w/e..

not sure if the bot does this?

it would just suck to pull up a stygian when im not sneak fishing. I mean im a 70PLD but i cant solo stygians.

Try reading "How to target specific fish in XUFish 3.6 and later"

From my experience I found the (allowedStamina * 0.963) part a bit unreliable especially if you target smaller fish such as nebimonites. You'll be letting a lot of them go. The range broaden the lower the weight is.

I use Lu Shang so let the script determine what to fight based on fishing instinc messege and the fish weight together. for example if I want small fish i'll use

if isheavy then
doBiteAdv = fasle
else
doBiteAdv = true
end if

this one I use to not reel up Guru Tuna and Ryugu Titan. But will reel up titanictus/sea zombie and all other small fish.

if isheavy then
doBiteAdv = ((difficulty > fishDifficultyEven) or (stamina > 900 )) and ( stamina < 1750 )
else
doBiteAdv = true
end if
