Rogue: Attack Power or Critical Strike : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I have been playing one of my 60 Rogues alot lately and have been searching for the right Spec/Combo. I feel I have found just the perfect setup Talent wise .. although I am having trouble with the attack power vs critical strike issue. My stats are: 34.08 crit .. 31.15 dodge .. but only 655 attack power. Anyone have ideas on this ?
And of course the hit points are just under 3400 (350 agility 192 stamina). Less agility more stamina ?

I've started my rogue not too long ago and I still getting used to it. it's a hell of a lot different than my 60 warrior, all I know is that if you have just under 3.4k hp that would be your main weakness. If you dodge a MS warrior it's overpower coming your way with a 60+% chance to crit. On my warrior I get into about 1.5-1.7k from one, so if I were you i'd lay off the crit and dodge (for now) and try and get some hp if possible. From playing a warrior I know that an MS warrior is a rogue's biggest threat. Otherwise I haven't ran into much trouble with any other classes.

Balance them. Attack power = stronger crit... But, sacrificing crit for AP = less % crit which lowers your damage. Crit % Will probably do more for you than AP, in the long run.

well, rogues shouldnt have that much health, what i do is, i have different sets to fight differnt classes(this is for PvP hunting not BG) when u see a enemy, look at wat class it is and then swap armor (ull get use to it) for example: like keisie said, warriors can do alot of damage when u dodge, using overpower, so u should lower ur dodge percentage and raise ur stamina to make up for all the attaks u wont be dodging, and u can keep ur crit were its at

then with ur own knowledg u can have ur own set ups for fighting other classes

i would aim for around 30% crit unbuffed and like 2-3 hit% and 600-700 AP

Not bad man. I like the amount of crit and health. Looks almost exactly like mine!
