Ram will cost 30-100$. IF you are 100% unsure you can just go to bestbuy and they will do it. ITs very easy to do and the best thing to increase your comp speed.

Would that improve your Frame rates?

it did for me.....i put in 2gb more and get no more lag even on full graphic settings.
i heard though having 1gb+ gives u no or minimal lag in IF (on low/medium graphical settings)

my 'pumping' i met putting more in.
i picked up my 2gb ram for my dell (yea a dell) about 70pnds = p+p though costs vary.
i usggest you go to the crucial website and use the advisor tool to selct the right 1.

though if you dont know how to fit it i recomend getting someone who does know as ram can get easly messed up if handeld the wrong way, it has alot more ways to go wrong

i personally have and Nvida 5200 128mb card in one cpu with 1.5gb ram and nvida XFX 5900 xt with 2.5gb ram and the graphics crad doesnt really make a big diff.

plus getting a new graphics card has only limited use in your computer while ram will increase everything, speed up your computer generally

Well the more RAM the quicker data transfer is between CPU and hardware.

Since you have more, the more that can be stored to be accessed quickly, less and it will read from the hard disk constantly which would cause lag since no Hard Disks can be read at a quick speed like RAM can be read from.

Good GFX cards help too with their own onboard memory.

Hmm right now I get some lag from my wireless connection but I'm getting wired up so it should be faster. And should I like call Best Buy ahead of time? Like would I just bring the harddrive in?

Yeah I would call them ahead of time. And they usually are very helpful with straight up hooking you up with stuff and gettign you the informatuion you need. :-) Good luck.
