Possible to have an account hacked? : FFXI General Discussions

Is it possible to have your account hacked into? The only way i can think of is by using a keylogger. no other ideas for me though. i dont want to hack an account, but i think a few LS members might be trying to scam the LS.

there was a script made before where basicly through POL e-mail there was a massive hole where you send the script, the target acc id, your ID and your pass and you would get an e-mail back within a day of the other target accs pass. i shall give no more info than this and yes this did work i tested it myself on a friends acc and got his pass back (i allready knew all the info)

anything can be hacked -_- www.mpgh.com and www.curse-x.com just had a big hack war between them lol, takea look very funny ^^

to be honest anyone that can hack like that wouldnt wast e there time ona video game -_-, atleast i think so. after seeing that hack war between those 2 sites and what they did to that david gupta dude ( had his entire life and everything he owned on a forum listed along with a program to call his phones non stop) i wouldnt be to focused on getting an Actual program to Hack for you, or running into someone in game that will hack you because hes throwing a tantrum is unlikely aswell, finding an actual working brute forcer for something as simple as aim or yahoo is already super hard but a game -_- i... dont think so

the e-mail was sent to pol not your targets e-mail. i wanna get that script back because there are a few guys who screwed my friends over bad and we know their pol just no pass

We need to make a way to hack the passwords if you know IDs, because ive had 2 accounts scammed off me in the past cpl months and I really want em back. I know its possible to trick the server into sending you a pass like before, but I just dont know exactly how. Does anyone?

how the !@#$%^&* do u get scammed for an account? dont u guys get out enough to learn u cant trust ANYONE? even your own pets
