This is about as useful as "See through /anon! type /tell <playername> what is your level/class?".

You have to be within inspect range, and by then you can tell just by their looks and con what level/class they are.

Completly useless. Not a bug, not an exploit.

/anon never stopped you from just right-click and inspect either.. i'm missing the point of this post

Incorrect, you can do this from ANY zone.

So the person you want to see can be deep in Fallen Gate while you're in .. uhm, Meeting of the Minds and you can still see their level and their gear. This works especially well when you're trying to see an /anon player who's inside an instance. Or if you hear that "whoever" just got uber-x piece of loot and you want to see it.

I'm pretty sure /anon is blocking inspects as of a few updates ago, this is useful.

I just inspected my brother who was in commonlands while i was in south qeynos. You can only inspect players online though.

No, because then you'd actually have to have a target -- which you won't have if you're looking at someone across zones.

I keep a macro on my hotbar /inspect_player name and edit it all the time when I wanna look at someone.

Interesting concept Foil.... cause you can send tells/mail cross server... I think maybe yout might be able to... try:

/inspect_player server.name

Someone should try it as I am not at my computer lol
