SE update, autosorted Spells.... : FFXI General Discussions

My 200+Spells have all been autosorted... Screw SE, can anyone tell me in what file is this list stroed ?

I dont want to go trhough the crappy FFXI sorting interface, and Swap 200+ spell like in a puzzle...

It might just be your character folder.
Under Final Fantasy/user/
At this point, you'll have to search for your character. Look at the mrc# files to find your macros for that character, that's you.
Possibly just replace all the files, but be sure to back them up.

I dont want that... I want to access the file and edit it withing bloc note or smthg

Yea, I remember reading somewhere before the update that all spells would have to be reset due to the addition of the new jobs. If its any consolation, they did apologize for the inconvenience =P

But there isn't any local file you can edit for that. That's why they were able to reset every players spell order, it's all stored serverside, along with the list that says what spells you have active.

You're probably correct onyx, but they *could* have just patched a client file during the update.

That's true, I didnt think about that. But I think I have manually sorted spells before and had them in the same order when I logged on a friends computer. I could be mistaken tho, I don't sort my spells much, i macro just about everything on multiple macro sets and alt-up or alt-down to get to them.

well no, spells are clientside, cuz when playing with a friend comp all spells are autosorted.

So if anyone skilled can find that file I would be Zomfgbbqfirex2woot thankfull to him. jsut looks at my spell list and you'll understand why....



and this only for my rdm... I have 75 blm and 60whm >_<
