A little sweet way to get your crafts up... long but good. : FFXI General Discussions

So guys... I am going to tell you how u can make a basic for all crafts 60 - 100 with only 1.200000 starting money.... it´s simple and easy....

So.. I write down how "I" made it.

You farm items sell it and try to get 1.2-1.5 million gil (depends on the server). Then.... Start cooking and lvl it to 100 ( it worked for me so I believe it shouldn´t be impossible for u... just buy all your integriends from NPC´s)
. Sell everything.... cheap things to NPC´s... expensive things in the AH.

If you got Cooking at highlvl... make Sole, Squid, Tentacle Sushi ect. and all of those +1. then sell it.... Sole sushi+1 = worth about 300k at my Server and I swear it sells like hell.... so you can make about 1 mio in 2 hours without any problems... (if you can HQ it of course).

Now make this a few weeks... in the time those Items sell ... start crafting your fvourite Craft to 60.... if you got it..... craft subcrafts to 60 as well...

so if all crafts you need are at lvl 60 and cooking is at 100.... try to SAVE your money till you are sure you have enough to make your favourite craft too 100 as well....

I made Goldsmithing so it was long way for me to save my money... (about 400 million gil).. takes me 3 month to get it... but finally IT WORKED.

So now u want to know how I can have 100+6 Goldsmithing right? I DROPPED COOKING after I was sure I have enough. and lvled Goldsmithing... now I can make much more... and I can make my favourite craft.

And a last tip: Spend 1 hour per day to craft and check the Auction house... (farming and crafting is much better then only buying items in the AH) and you won´t have any more problems with gil 4ever..

It should be a way to lvl your subcrafts without needing 15 million gil at starmoney if you wanna ONLY craft.

Just wanted to say "How it´s possible to do"

While this is not a guide-- they are correct. I have cooking at 98.2 right now. I have kept track of my gil cost/profits just during skill up since lvl 20 and I have only lost about 500k. I profited huge on rollanberry pies compared to the rest. Did them from 85-90 and made about 300k profit after finishing by selling them in bastok/sandy/windy instead of jeuno. The price was about 30k/stack in Bastok/Sandy, 20k in Windy and 10k in jeuno. 10k was breaking even from skill up, so I sold them in Bastok on my main and in Sandy on my mule

I make about 500k profit if I spend a few hours crafting and put my bazaar out over night. More HQ's ... bigger profits. Jelly and HQ sushi is awesome profit but HQ sushi's very rare for me to make still. Need to work on getting the last item from the guild for +1 skill. /sigh 40k/120k GP still


Getting past 98 to 100 ... I have not got the push to do that yet lol. Items are annoying to get ...

This guide would only work if you had good luck getting the sushi but it would be do-able.
