I cant get Xunleased to work with FFXI : FFXI General Discussions

I am fairly new i figured id post here. I am not sure if it will take a pro to figure out my noob question . I downloaded Xunleashed 3.0 (not sure if that the newest version) and set it up to (play) FFXI. I launch Play online and get to the point where i am going into FFXI. After that i crashed right out and no matter how many plugins a disable i cant get it to work. Any ideas?

i have the same problem, and Ive read the FAQ numerous times, it just crashes when I start FFXI =/

Ok, so I'm running the latest version of the XUnleashed CLient, ver. 4.4....I have the following problems:

1) My mouse cursor is misaligned somehow...to click a button on the screen, I have to aim about 1cm below it.

2) My game window cannot be resized, maximixed, or minimized. I can, however, move my game window around on my desktop.

3) If I accidentally click on the "PlayonlineMaskUS" window, my system freezes. CTRL+ALT+DEL will shutdown the game.

Any ideas? And before someone shouts at me to read the FAQ, yes, I have read it, but:
I paid for the service, please just fix the problem, don't berate the customer.

1 Fix: close down all programs, restart XU. Restart FFXI. If you close ffxi and dont close xu, you will get that probem again. Be sure to close xu between ffxi launches.

2. Fix. Nope, That is set by ffxi, if you need it bigger smaller, load up the ffxi config tool and reset the size.

3. Fix. Dont click on playonlinemaskUS.

Sounds like something is corrupted to me. Either that, or you don't have the required hardware and it just plain won't work. You can try re-downloading Xunleashed. May solve the problem, may not.
