after suspension, how closely do GMs watch people? : FFXI General Discussions

Hey, I recently used a speed hack for an ENM and some A$$ of a GM caught me and 2 of my friends. He was extremely rude but that's beside the point. A while ago before i started hacking, i was going to quit the game because it wasn't very fun to me anymore. When my friend taught me the ways of hacking, i LOVED this game. Here is my question. After my 72 hour suspension is over and i log back on.. is it safe for me to use hacks such as just runninng a little faster with the occasional warp? nothing hardcore i just dont want to play anymore if i must stop hacking completely because they are watching. anyone know if they got their eyes on me? Thanks very much.

they deifnately don't watch youall the time, but if you do something obvious and it triggers some anti-hack thing(if they have them) or someone reports you, they will check you out.

I got suspended once, and when I came back immediately started warping and FleeTool'ing again all around Vana'diel... Haven't been caught so far, and it's been almost 7 months ago.

not at all.

I was suspended months ago, and I make hacks.

In my opinion, you are just put a step closer to being banned. Just don't get caught and you'll be fine.

LOL im sure if a GM was to peak into Atti's account while he is developing, he would probably witness some crazy !@#$%^&*.

I actually have a Windower Launcher Launcher that injects a dll which makes it so GMs cannot warp me to Mordion. I haven't tested it (obviously), but if it doesn't "work" it would make the server kick me lol.

I secretly wish I would get taken to jail so I could pwn the GM.

GM: wtf? I can't warp you to jail...
Atti: thats right, who's the GM now?

@_@; is that really a good idea? I mean, if they try to warp you but can't... that's very... suspecious is it?

Who cares?

By the time they decide to get you in jail, you're !@#$%^&* anyway. Jail is nothing more than a scare tactic, as tells can be used for private conversations and jail is only good for private conversations. Also, GMs actually being able to physically be in the game (and visible) is another scare tactic.

At the guy above me:

Do you honestly think they need to check if you're using something? They would only take you there if you were 100% going to be punished.

Another thing I find hilarious is the fact that SE knows or could easily know every single account that uses Windower. Detecting stuff like that is easier than pie. And pie is damn easy. Windower is third party enough to get you banned.

;) no. It's really not that hard to make if you think about it.

How does it work.....? Guesses:

1) Just destroy the packet that sends the info that you've been warped?

2) Somehow lock the area code?

3) Somehow force the "You could not enter this area" error?

any help here lol? :-P
