Private servers/ Server Emulate : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Question: I was wondering if there are any working self private servers / server emulators that I could use to play wow by myself. If someone could answer this, it would be great.
I also have seen some people gear there characters with tier sets.

You should use ask a pro section for this, but you'd have to host the server by yourself. Most probably yes, but it'd be hard to do.

I've wanted to run a server for the same reason for some time, but I've given up. I'm too lazy to figure it out and I'd rather not get banned if Blizzard found out somehow.

isn't that illegal to run your own server?

Not illegal i dont THINK, but Blizz sure does hate it.

p.s. I would have no idea, but i would assume that Private servers rule, and that its damn fun to crank up the speed you run at so high that you instantly teleport to where you are looking. If you do do this, i would also assume that any piece of even slight bump you hit makes you stop, so use it over a long flat/downhill (Barrens), for amazingly fast speed results .

Private Servers ARE ILLEGAL

The reason is to operate one you must reverse engineer a game fully. Which was stated illegal. They are trying to overturn a case that was rules stating private servers are illegal. Anyways topic locked as we cant talk about private servers. Blizzard would like a reason to take us down .
