i've been tinkering around with enchanting myself, it seems that there are factors which contribute to the success rate of enchanting.

between waiting for a day, and spamming soulshots between enchants, and enchanting once every level, the list of rituals goes on.

some characters seem to be naturally luckier at it than others, though.

i have succesfully enchanted a Light Crossbow, and some 107's to +16, it took me about 6 tries each, but i still did it. was it worth it......no..... there is no way that i could sell them for the price that i spent for trying to make them. But still yet, they do look awesome. and it took me about 2 weeks to get them there

This is just a theory but it seems that the succes rate depends on the kind of weapons you wish to OE. Some weapons are more receptive for this then others. Also, the range from +4 to +7 is the toughest to succeed.

Am playing with this concept since the day I started. I find it hard to believe that 'luck' is the keyword with enchanting...

The secret of enchanting.

1) When there is Lag
2) Don't enchant more than 6 a day
3) Have to be lucky. I got a draconic bow +13.
4) Mage weapon are tough. I recommend +6 at most or it will break

Good luck

The way you do it is you remove the chance that you'll fail. How do you do that? That is the question you want to ask yourself...

I have a way that works pretty consistently, but posting it here might upset the OE economy.

It is a valid method using unexploitive means, but I don't think the people who have figured out how to reduce the chances of a fail want it public until you figure it out on your own.
