/inspect : World of Warcraft General Discussions

As of recently, I and a few other people I know have been having a problem with inspecting. I'm not sure how widespread the problem is, but it makes it so that if you inspect someone from close up, some of their armor doesn't show up. If they move further away, all of the armor icons dissapear and when you mouseover them, it says "Chest", "Legs" etc.

At first I thought this was an issue with my Superinspect addon, but when I disabled it, the same problem occured. I have yet to see any news from blizz as to when a hotfix for this might come out, but I hope it's soon.

i ahven't had this probalem maybe it is just on different servers, becuase when i inspect all their gear shows for me

If you inspect with /inspect from a distance and whatnot, it doesn't work. If you are up close and right-click their portrait and inspect them, it will show their gear and such, but not always on them.

This is a known problem with Blizzard and they have addressed it [here] already. At least, I think that's what you're talking about. They're working on it as fast as they can. Blizzard already made a responce about it but I don't have a link to the forum it was on at the moment.

This also occurs when you inspect someone of the opposing faction who is mindcontrolled, and then the MC wears off, and they become hostile again.
