What would you think i choose tank because i know a healer helps but a healer can't damage...and i know what your thinking *a tank can't heal*

Sorry but priests are what keep the party going. While the warrrior is mainly for tanking and keeping the other races safe, the warrior would still die without the assistance of a priest usually.

But a warrior may be able to go through a whole instance without needing a heal sure it may be slow but could a priest of the same level do so?

I thought your topic was "Better at keeping the group alive," not who survives better. If you're talking about who survives better naturally it's the warrior because they were ment to take damage. Unless you're me that is and suck at playing warriors...

No as in if the Warrior and a Priest were grouped who would keep them alive? a Warrior for handling Mobs or a Priest for healing the Warrior
