When your in ubrs / zg pug / whatever and you only have 1 need. Its a kinda crappy item but you could use it. But no way you are going to give up your need to get some epix !
just say to the winner give it to me ill DE it for you and instead you DE the other item you had in that slot not teh uber leet hax but can come in handy so
1. Someone wins the raidroll
2. Tell the ml and the winner to give it to you so you will Disenchant it for him
3. DE an other item instead ( of same lvl range or he wont get the right shard )

So you take his item and D/E something else you have in your inventory? or is that wrong?

Ohhhh, so like, you loot a Purple, and disenchant a green you have in your inventory and then give him the green DEs and keep the purple?

thats the concept but they wont believe only some dusts came off an epic i advise doing when you get a blue you DE a blue you have

That could be done with lower-leveled items(in insstance for lower-level) cuz the diffrence isnt so big there, but could be usefull, ya.
