WOW Expansion Every Year : World of Warcraft General Discussions

Did anyone here that Blzzard are going to try and make and release an expansion every single year?

A rep said this "Our ideal scenario would be to release new expansions every year, and that's what we're aiming for".

I wonder how much they will charge for each of them...

prolly the same as the original... 30-50$

I don't have that kind of money

they wouldnt release one every year i dont think, this first one has taken forever to release...

they could do it. many other games have done it and so can bliz.

currently my only thoughts are... why did you post a 2nd post just to ask what peoples thoughts were?

why? buck farming ofcourse and its fixed. hate double posters so i nuke them.

Then blizz would only work on WoW. They also made Starcraft, Warcraft etc. A classmate plays Starcraft and he told me that every1 who plays it to is waiting for a new part of it.

i would hope that bliz would be smarter than to make people pay $50 each year to get the new update we already pay monthly and what lv will they stop at because i think 70 sounds kinda odd 60 sounded like an acheivement now 70 what when they get ot 100 just think of how long that would take even from 60 let alone some one new to wow. Blizzard has to stop some where dont they?

yes... because sooner or later at lvl 80-90 they would get so strong that they could 1 shot anything not in a raid or in the lvl 80 areas.... I doubt that if they make lvl 80 available that WoW will continue far past that...

there may even be a new game... like the warhammer game...

people were addicted to everquest and everquest 2 like crack.. when WoW came out, they dropped it like a bad habbit and started on WoW... what makes ya think theres no other game gonna be like that?

time to get from 1-60 = 60-70 time to get from 70-80 = 1-70 time to get from 1-80 = 80-85 level 90 forget it, it would take soooo long if they raised the cap to something like 90, expansion pack each year maybe level cap raised doubt it

that would be cool, it would always be updated. but it would be better if there were patches instead of buying the next expansion.

yea which is what they have been doing ever since WOW was realeased
