I can't believe that I get banned for this !@#$%^&* : World of Warcraft General Discussions

I was dropping/picking the wsg flag up for like 16 times and suddenly I get kicked/banned not even a warning or suspend. I never used any 3rd party software. Below is what I received via email

Offense: Use of Third Party Automation Software

This account has been found to have employed third party software
designed to automate many aspects of the World of Warcraft game play
experience. Such software runs contrary to the essence of World of Warcraft
and provides an advantage over other players. In addition, use of this
software can lead to exploitation and destabilization of the World of
Warcraft server economy. As such, this account has been closed and will
not be reopened under any circumstances. The recurring subscription on
the account has been disabled to prevent further charges.

Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html, which you
accepted when you installed World of Warcraft and established the account(s).
Section 2, Paragraph C details the limitations of game play
modifications and use of any third-party or “packet sniffingâ€

ya usually if you send them an email !@#$%^&* saying you didnt do it you should be fine...

also found that if you get in trouble for exploiting and you say that you havent played all week and someone else must have your password they are pretty nice and take the ban away

that won't work, they say that it's your own risk if you share your password

That stinks man, you should scan your computer for any spyware and a keylogger just in case. Someone might be using your account, though if they were, they probley would have changed the password.

If you say that someone else was on your account, they usually would reply, "That is violating our accout sharing policy, each account should only be used by one individual" or some !@#$%^&* like that.

The only thing you can do if you are sure no-one else used any hacks on your accounts, is to complain about it .

There seems to be more and more of this happening. The problem is, MOST people are banned for good reasons and report that they did nothing wrong.

I would write a NICE, professional type email to them. Let them know that you did not use any illegal programs and that you would like more information on why they are banning you.

If you DID use stuff that could get you banned, don't bother emailing them. It's a waste of your time and theirs.

lol it did happen to me 2, i was in wsg and the a changed my pass for like 3-4 like in one hour. After i did that i got banned, THat sucks

Ouch im sorry for that. Its stupid when they ban you for not doing anything that warrants one.

you should tell them what happened my friend got banned for having 6k gold on a lvl 10 char but the thing is he didn't dupe any of them or scamed, he just got some from the gold sites and then blizz banned him...and he started to make phone calls to blizzard this tooked about 2 weeks but in the end blizzard unbanned him and just banned his payment method making him pay with pre-paid cards

Why would you even drop and pick the flag anyway?

blizard rarly unbans an account, people seem to be getting baned for no reason at all, and blizzard does not need to provide at proof at alll besides reasonal doubt, One ex guildy or mine was going around spaming in trade channel and general chat and yell, andthing u could think, of swears , racists things, and he was spaming it for almost a good 2 hrs before a gm kicked him off, and it ened up that he only got a 3 day ban for all of that.

How come the soup nazi comes to mind whenever i think of blizzard and banning?
