EQ2 No official update and Log servers Axed for entire EQ2 : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

As of around 7:45am CDT this morning the Login Servers went off line for the entire EQ2 game base. No update has been forthcoming as yet (9:29am)

It also appears that the EQ2.Station Login Server is down as well. If you have a Character logged into the station and have not cleared your cookies recently you should still be able to post and check Network Status. If you have cleared your cookies reciently the nyou will only be able to view the forums.

Updates to follow... however dont hold your breath, no admin or other responses have been found on the forums yet despite the complaints.

Probably GU/LU 30. And they broke everything in the process of putting it in...

It now appears that the Log In Servers are once again operational though I still have not seen an official "This is what we did" post.

Disregard previous message. Launch pad will work but Network issues remain.

Any other Boards with Clarifying information on what is happening? I can't imagin that there wouldn't be some kind of community announcement out there someonewhere since ALL of SOE game platforms are affected. Pretty Scary PR.

Just got into game. it is up but very heavy log in traffic. may take a few tries.

Edit: Crashed on Zoning and cant get logged back in...

I dont think so, there was no update note when I got logged in the first time, and there are other messages out there in various forums stating that a Dev contacted SOE Ops and that anything dealing with Logging (Account to main servers, Zone to Zone connections etc.).

If it is Update 30 then they completely Borked it when installing. Either that or someone spilled coffee on a switch =)

Haha that is classic, the Dev couldnt log into forums to post so he had to go to another board!!

Anyway, I got in game np but forums seem screwed up still.
